TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Terms and Conditions are applicable to all bookings and should be observed when booking any level of service with Apply & Conquer Detailing.

The information/ disclaimer refers to my vehicle and valeting services, detailing practices and/ or any limitations I might encounter during the different processes. There is a multitude of unusual conditions and situations I may face whilst carrying out a detailed process and it is therefore necessary to provide clarification in advance to avoid any uncertainty and discrepancies later on.

BOOKINGS:
Bookings can be made and confirmed via text message, Whatsapp message or Instagram DM. Bookings can be discussed with a phone call where you will be directed to then provided with the details listed below.
The following information will be required for all bookings:
1. Customers Full Name
2. Customers Phone Number
3. Customers Email address
4. Vehicle Make and Model
5. Vehicle Index/Registration
6. Booking Location – Full Address Required

DEPOSITS/CANCELLATIONS:
Deposits are required for all full day or multiple day bookings. The deposit amount required will be confirmed when an estimate of costs is provided. Bookings that require a deposit will only be confirmed until a deposit is received. Deposits can be made via bank transfer or paid in cash.
To secure a booking for the date and time required a 20% deposit of the estimated cost will be required in advance.
Deposits are non-refundable. I understand that circumstances change quickly meaning agreed dates cannot be met, for this reason a booking can be re-arranged the deposit will be transferable to secure an alternative date.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee will be calculated on a case-by-case basis. The cancellation fee may be a part or all of the paid deposit.
A cancellation fee is not charged lightly, and consideration will be given to the individual circumstances. Cancellation fees are a necessary condition for our detailing services, for example when a booking date or set of dates is agreed it prevents other clients securing them dates which may lead to them being unable to book at all. Full and multiple-day bookings often require materials to be purchased specifically for the booking.
*Deposits are not required for routine Maintenance Wash/Valets.

VEHICLE SIZE CATERGORIES:
With so many new classes of vehicle sizes in the modern day such as city, micro and compact all the way up to super XL and Luxury I have simplified this down to 4 separate categories. These are:

Small – 2 Door Hatchback / 2 Door Sports car
Medium – 4 door Saloon/ 4 Door Hatchback / Small Van
Large – SUV’s / Mini MPV / Estate / Medium Van
Extra Large – 4×4’s / MPV’s / 7-seater / Large Vans / Prestige vehicles

Vehicles that will be considered to fall outside of these categories are vehicles such as motor homes, commercial vehicles, minibuses etc.

Confirmation of the size category a vehicle falls into can be made upon booking or inspection.

PRODUCTS:
Apply & Conquer Detailing is not affiliated to a sole provider of products which allows me to have the freedom to select the best products for the task I require them for. The products that I use have been carefully selected after years of research and testing.
Only products designed for their intended purpose are used, there are no homemade or trial products used on your vehicle and each product is used exactly to the manufacture’s specification.

The product range used is sourced from industry leading companies such as CarPro, Rupes, Meguiar’s, Krystal Kleen Detail, Carbon Collective and Koch Chemie to name a few. These brands are trusted all across the world. The products they produce are not the cheapest on the market but are priced to represent value for the tasks their products perform.

At no time will products purchased by a vehicle owner/customer be used to complete work on said vehicle.

MACHINERY:
The machinery I use is quite simply the best available on the current market. Much time and investment has gone into getting the right tool for the job. All of the equipment used comes from Industry standard manufacturers like: Kranzle / Flex / Rupes etc. Standard Operating procedures are followed thoroughly. I believe the right tool for the job is far more important than using tools to get the job done as cheaply as possible as this inevitably results in a more time-consuming and lower standard of work.

STEAM-CLEAN:
Unless otherwise specified, all our vehicle interior cleaning processes use high pressure steam (Steam pressure: 6-8 Bar / Steam Temp: 80-90*c) which guarantees to sanitise and clean surface contaminants without the use of harsh chemicals. Steam cleaning is an industry accepted method of industry utilised the world over for fast, efficient and thorough cleaning which matches or even exceeds the results achieved with the use of regular car wash, pressure washers and cleaning chemicals/ products. Steam also utilises less water per car/bike and is a very eco-friendly way of detailing, washing and interior cleaning. Not to mention steam cleaning the engine bay of a vehicle is far safer and efficient than directly spraying high pressure water into the engine bay.
If you still feel the need for a water-based wash, we do offer high pressure foam wash or hand wash with pH neutral shampoos. Kindly suggest this as your requirement prior commencing services.

INTERIOR CLEANING & DETAILING:
It is the vehicle owners or person booking a service’s responsibility to provide a safe, clutter free and non-hazardous working zone.

I recommend you remove property and items of importance from the vehicle prior to each service. I will not be held responsible for any Missing/ Loss/ Theft of items. I will have a final check for anything of value and hand it over to you prior commencing work, but the final responsibility lies with the customer.

Wet vacuuming extraction work and Seat Steam Cleaning – I aim to air dry up to at least 80% dryness but some dampness might still remain due to the stage the wet work is carried out during the booking. I recommend fabric seats to dry in the sun at least 2-3 hrs. prior use. This is standard practice and is recommended after all wet vacuum and steam cleaning.
Every effort will be made to make sure each vehicle is comfortable for immediate use at the end of the booking.

EXTERIOR CLEANING & DETAILING:
Exterior drain channels are only cleaned up till the equipment can reach. Leaves/ branches, debris within the wiper housing, door drain channels, wheel well drains are not possible to be de-cluttered/ cleaned during routine maintenance cleaning service and will require additional time and professional tools/ dismantling to open and clean.

Brake calipers, discs/ rotors are not always easily accessible due to the various designs of wheels. They are not guaranteed to be thoroughly cleaned in only a maintenance package. Every effort will be made to access the calipers on a vehicle using a range of brushes and mitts.

On occasions where the vehicles brake calipers, suspension struts, brake disc bells require thoroughly cleaning to perfection then it is recommended the wheels are removed. This level of service can be provided on request and will be subject to an additional charge.

Engine bay details can be added to any detailing package on request. It is highly recommended that engine bays are cleaned during the first occasion your vehicle is tended to. An engine bay detail is about more than just having a clean engine as it ensures debris from trees such as twigs and leaves do not clog channels designed to keep water and moisture away from vital electrics and moving parts.

Heavy/ingrained stains, interior drain channels and crevices beyond the reach of our equipment will be unable to be cleaned and detailed as thoroughly. Engine bay cleaning is on a best effort basis.

I cannot guarantee the manufacturer/ company specified longevity of our waxes/ polishes & coatings/ paint sealants. I apply and dry all coatings/ waxes and polishes as per company specification.

Estimates given around the longevity of a product are based on guidance provided by the manufacturer and personal experience of said product that has been regularly maintained by me only.

Frequent use of hard water, abrasive cloths, dry wipe downs strip away the protective coatings faster than normal. This is not indicative of the quality of materials I use but rather the regular cleaning processes and environmental conditions the vehicle is subject to.

Removal/treatment of Deep Rust stains / Cement spots / Dried bird and bug droppings / Hard water marks/ Deep scratches/ Paint damage/Clear Coat Stripping / Scuffed Alloys etc are beyond the capabilities of my equipment and would sometimes require Workshop Level procedures and equipment to correct defects. We will attempt to do our best to restore these items as much as possible within the scope of our equipment and time.

SERVICE LIMITATIONS: (Abnormal Nature of Stains/Situations)
Heavy Mold/Mildew/Fungus coating all over the car exterior and interior
Deeply ingrained and excessive Pet Hair/Cigarette Burns
Human Waste/Vomit/Animal Poop and other stains not of a normal nature
Severe Muck/Mud stains of an abnormal nature
Any other stains/issues not occurring during normal use (eg: Chemicals/ Tar/Acid/Oil/Rust/Cement etc)
The above list is not comprehensive but only indicative of what comprises abnormal nature. These will incur an excessive cleaning cost of up-to 20% of the Total package cost. Time guarantees do not apply under these working conditions. I am unable to offer a satisfaction guarantee in these cases as interiors/ exteriors could be damaged beyond our standards of condition recovery.
Cleaning/ Stain removal/ Detailing will be on a best-effort basis. Needless to say, I will ensure you will get the highest level of service within time and budget available.

REVIEWS / FEEDBACK:
I am always open to constructive criticism and feedback, and I encourage you to utilise the website’s contact form or contact me as soon as possible via text message/email in regard to the service provided once detailing is done.

I will always offer customers the opportunity to inspect the vehicle once the work is complete. There will be occasions when work has to be finished in the evening when daylight is not available and so I ensure I carry a range of different lights to inspect work to the best of my ability before leaving. Should any area of the vehicle being worked on have an area that’s been missed I would appreciate being informed of this at the earliest opportunity.

This will help me to rectify the area that needs addressing, continually improve my methods, and deal with any negative feedback in a positive way. I reserve the right to rectify any issues that are present on the vehicle prior to any negative publication to be written and published online. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to me. I pride myself on always delivering the best of my abilities.
